FC Copenhagen defender Mathias Jorgensen will sign a four-year-deal with Dutch side PSV Eindhoven.

The 21-year-old’s current contract expires in the summer and he will join PSV on a free transfer.

“It’s very nice to be on this stage with a lot of history and know that I’m finally going to be a part of it this summer,” said Jorgensen.

“I am very happy about it.

“I have recovered from my knee injury. I hope to make my comeback shortly and be fully fit again in summer.”

Real Madrid midfielder Xabi Alonso will not leave the club after the end of the season, his agent suggests.

Alonso has been strongly linked with a move to Juventus, however, his agent Inaki Ibanez claims that the Spanish international could stay at Real until the end of his career.

“I think a move to Juventus for Xabi is an impossible thing,” said Ibanez.

“It’s not a money problem, now the player has a great time at Real and I see no possibility that he moves, neither to go to Turin nor to another club.

“He still has two years and a half contract, then we will see.

“Finishing his career at Real Madrid? It’s a possibility, although in football you never know.

“Juventus had the chance to buy Xabi Alonso two and a half years ago (when he was at Liverpool), but no agreement was found.

“I think it’s a train which has passed and now it is no longer possible to take again.”

Didier Deschamps has revealed that Marseille will not have enough money to sign big names during the summer transfer window.

Marseille have been expected to strengthen the squad, however, they will have to search for bargains as their financial situation will not let them compete with wealthier rivals.

“Am I interested in Younes Belhanda and Olivier Giroud? Of course, but they are unreachable,” said Deschamps.

“My chairman has been very clear, big transfers are not possible anymore.

“Unless things change, moves like that are unrealistic for Marseille.”

Asamoah Gyan who is currently on loan at Al-Ain could sign a permanent deal with the club in the summer.

The 26-year-old joined Al-Ain in September after bust-up with former Sunderland manager Steve Bruce. However, Gyan is enjoying his time in United Arab Emirates and even the arrival of Martin O’Neill as new club’s boss could not convince him to return at Stadium of Light.

Al-Ain manager Cosmin Olaroiu believes that the striker will sign a permanent deal with the club.

“If you ask me for my opinion if Gyan wants to stay in Al Ain, it is yes, but it is left for him to decide if he want to stay or not,” said Olaroiu.

“From what I know about him and the way he acts, I know he feels good about this place.

“He is getting on well with the team, with us, the club management and with everybody around him.

“Gyan obviously is an important player for us. He is not only scoring for us but also creates scoring opportunities for the others and most importantly, he motivates the other players.”

Gyan has scored ten goals since his arrival at Al-Ain.

Javi Garcia’s agent has revealed that Manchester United have not made an offer for the player despite rumours in the media.

The 24-year-old is strongly linked with a move away from Benfica in the summer and a number of clubs confirmed interest in the midfielder.

However, his agent Garcia Quillon has rejected reports that ‘Red Devils’ have already made an offer.

“I cannot say anything, no one has talked to me,” he said.

“There are no offers, just rumours.”

Javi Garcia joined Benfica in 2009 from Real Madrid.

According to Barcelona vice-president Josep Maria Bartomeu, the club will not buy any world-class player during the summer transfer window.

It is believed that the Spanish club will try to capture Gareth Bale from Tottenham and Robin van Persie from Arsenal, however, Bartomeu claims they are not prepared to buy any of those players.

“Those players are very good, but we always need common sense in any negotiations,” he said.

“We will not enter the madness market because it is impossible for Barcelona to pay 40 or 50million Euros (£33-42m) for any player.

“This is a decision of the club.

“We can’t fight against every club. But we have an advantage in that players want to come and play for Barcelona.”

Former Chelsea striker Nicolas Anelka who joined Shanghai Shenhua in January admitted that he would like to see Didier Drogba in China.

Drobga is out of contract at Stamford Bridge at the end of season and could leave the club in the summer.

“I personally would like to see Drogba join Shanghai Shenhua,” said Anelka.

He added: “Yes I am frequently in contact with him. I think Drogba should be joining us, if all goes well, but that is not my position to announce.” he added.

However, 33-year-old Drogba still hopes that he will be offered a new deal.

“The chances of me being a Chelsea player next season? I don’t know,” he said.

“There are a lot of rumours. Everybody knows I want to stay at Chelsea. Everybody knows my heart is blue.

“If I sign a new contract with Chelsea I’m blue, if I go anywhere else I’ll still stay blue.”

David Albelda has signed a new deal with Valencia and will stay at the club until 2013.

The 34-year-old revealed that he has never considered leaving Valencia and will remain at the club as long as it is possible.

“My first option was always to stay here,” he said.

“We never thought about me moving and wanted wait to see what decision Valencia would take and I think it was the best think to remain.

“If I had not had this choice then I would have looked for other things.”

Christian Eriksen has admitted that he will consider leaving Ajax but he knows that Holland is still the best place to develop his skills.

The 20-year-old has been linked with a number of European clubs, including Chelsea, Manchester United or AC Milan. However, he has no desire to leave the club soon.

“You can learn so much from training with the top guys,” said Eriksen.

“You don’t learn from playing against them. When it’s time to leave Ajax, I’ll try to go to a bigger team who do well in the Champions League every year and win trophies.

“But I’d make sure it was somewhere where I wouldn’t just sit on the bench. Right now, my mind is only focused on Ajax.”

Eriksen will have a chance to show his skills as Ajax will face Manchester United on Thursday in the Europa League.

Mario Gotze’s agent has confirmed that he has been in contact with both Manchester United and Juventus in recent weeks.

The Borussia Dortmund midfielder who impressed in last season has been a transfer target for top European clubs. The 19-year-old has already played 12 games for Germany and will be included in the national squad for Euro 2012 this summer.

However, his agent, Dirk Hebel, insists that Gotze will not be sold for less than €40 million.

“I think in Europe all the top clubs are interested in Mario.” said Hebel.

“I can confirm that I have had contact with Juventus and Manchester United, but not only them.

“I don’t know if he’ll go away after this season, you should ask Borussia. But I think that they will not let him leave for less than 40million euros.

“He still is very happy at Dortmund, though now he is injured.”
