Lazio are interested in the Japanese play-maker, but CSKA are not willing to let their star man go too soon.
Lazio offered €2m for a 6-month loan, plus an additional €10m if they wish to buy him out at the end of the loan period.
“Lazio is a great option for Honda, but we’re still unsure whether the transfer will take place now or in the summer.” said Keisuke Honda’s agent, Maikel Stevens.
Honda has previously drawn interest from Arsenal and Liverpool, but the words of the agent suggest Lazio is the current favourite for the pursuit.
